MEET THE STAFF

 

Carrie Kelley, Executive Director           

 

Carrie has been working with nonprofit and government entities for over 15 years. She came to the Arizona Association for Economic Development from Downtown Santa Barbara where she served as Executive Director.  Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of the Mohave Community College Foundation in Kingman, Arizona.  Originally from Indiana, Carrie worked as Local Government Services Director at McGaughey & Sosbe Law Offices for 11 years and as a nonprofit consultant in Indiana, working on fundraising, strategic planning, and rural community development. 

She holds a B.A. in Art History and Master of Public Administration from Indiana University. 

 

 

 

Meg Zemlicka, Director of Marketing and Member Services            

 

Meg Zemlicka joined the AAED team as a Marketing Coordinator in 2019. Since then, she has transitioned into the role of Director of Marketing and Member Services. She manages AAED's social media functions, designs and creates all promotional materials, and manages the AAED membership database. Originally from Prescott, Meg is passionate about Arizona's communities and economic development.

Meg holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.F.A. in Visual Communication from Northern Arizona University. 


 

 

 

Lori Mann, Accountant      

 

Lori Mann handles all the accounting needs for AAED, having joined the team in 2015. Having worked in the membership and event arena for the past 10 years she brings a strong level of experience to the financial literacy of the organization.


Lori is a Certified Public Accountant and received her B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University. Go Devils!
 


  

 

 

 

 

Juliana Jervis, Office Assistant

 

Juliana Jervis joined AAED as an Office Assistant in August 2019. Prior to joining AAED, Juliana worked at America’s Public Television Stations (APTS) as an Events and Staff Assistant. At APTS, she helped with registrations and sponsorships for their annual event, in addition to membership.

 

Juliana holds a B.S. in Sport Management with minors in Business Administration and Event Planning from West Virginia University.
