Welcome to the Arizona Association for Economic Development
(AAED) website. AAED is committed to being the leading
advocate for responsible economic development in Arizona.
Economic development is all about improving the economy
of a community, region and state. AAED has been in existence
for over 30 years, providing a platform and forum for
helping Arizona's economy to expand, through job creation,
increasing the tax base, and enhancing quality of life.
AAED represents a very diverse membership of over 500
- from economic development and workforce practitioners
to service providers, public and private sectors, urban
and rural interests, and large and small organizations
from all over Arizona. At AAED, you will find representatives
from development, construction, architecture, engineering,
utilities, communication, education, government and many
others.
AAED's mission is education, advocacy and networking to
support responsible economic development, and our Board,
Committees, and events are all geared toward supporting
that mission.
Thank you for your interest in AAED. I encourage you to
consider getting involved with our dynamic organization
- if you are interested in learning more about us, please
contact our Executive Director, Bruce Coomer - bruce@aaed.com.
Best Regards,
Garrett Newland
