Throughout the year, AAED hosts a multitude of events statewide that provide professional education and opportunities to connect. These include luncheons, symposiums, mixers and networking events, and academy courses.

In addition, AAED hosts two signature, not to be missed, events each year including the spring conference and the fall forum.

The session proposal form below is utilized for all AAED’s events.

Session proposals should address trends and topics that reflect the wide-ranging needs and interests of economic developers in Arizona. Those with a unique format, such as workshops, breakout groups, or small group discussions, are encouraged. 

AAED also wants to ensure we have a diverse range of speakers and asks that session speakers reflect that commitment. AAED conferences typically attract 200+ attendees from communities large and small across Arizona. Attendees include economic developers, educational partners, and representatives from the private sector, including fields such as construction, architecture, development, and engineering companies.

Please note: We do not financially compensate speakers. Speakers receive a free registration to the conference; hotel and travel are at your own cost.
